ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Mavlyn is a Clinical Social Work & Therapist that create safe spaces for young ladies ages 9-25 to address specific issues head-on & equip them to gain the tools required to build their self-esteem & live a confident life. Through conversation, coaching, & therapy, she helps young ladies address physical and self-esteem related issues, relational issues including bullying and exclusion, traumatic experiences limited to sexual and relationship violence, and financial and/or time management struggles. Being a veteran, she has had multiple opportunities to travel and do ministry in foreign lands. From the first session with me, I began to share with her prophetically about her global mandate to girls in India and Africa and with tears she confirmed that is her passion as well and that she currently has been to those countries.

With that insight, we began to peel back all the layers of Mavlyn and what God wanted to do in her life. The brand that we were about to build was going to have to be able to reach women internationally. We discovered that she was the Magician archetype which means that her brand was to exude transformation, vision, and discovery yet with sophistication and boldness as she desires to empower ladies and teens to rise out of hard places, to discover their difference, and to live their life in freedom so we went with a very contrast and bold color palette. Her motto “A Seat at the Table” was reflected in her logo with elements of butterfly wings, a table, and a woman giving a personal invitation to have a seat.
